Academic Visit and Collaboration Initiative between the Faculty of Dharma Acarya, UHN IGB Sugriwa Denpasar, and the Doctoral Program in Performing and Visual Arts Studies, Graduate School of UGM

Yogyakarta, November 12, 2025 — In an effort to strengthen institutional relations and enhance academic coordination between higher education institutions, the Faculty of Dharma Acarya, Universitas Hindu Negeri (UHN) I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar, conducted an educational visit to the Doctoral Program in Performing and Visual Arts Studies, Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Commencing at 8:00 a.m. local time, the visit aimed to monitor the academic progress of a faculty member, I Gede Tilem Pastika, who is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the mentioned program.

This visit also served as an opportunity to foster academic relations and explore potential collaborations in the fields of art and education. Through a cordial discussion and exchange, both institutions shared insights. They explored opportunities

for joint academic activities, research collaborations, and curriculum development aligned with the dynamics of contemporary art and cultural studies.

The delegation from UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar consisted of nine participants, including the Dean, Vice Dean, Coordinators, Heads of Department, Secretaries, and Lecturers of the Faculty of Dharma Acarya. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the management of the Doctoral Program in Performing and Visual Arts Studies at the, Graduate School of UGM.

This academic visit is expected to further strengthen the academic partnership between the two institutions and expand collaborative networks in the higher education landscape of arts and humanities in Indonesia. (AHP)
