Entry Requirement
Applicants who meet the requirements below, can apply to become a doctoral program participant in the same field of study as the field of study or other fields of study approved by the Chairperson of the Study Program:
- Original undergraduate certificate or a photocopy that has been legalized. An undergraduate certificate or equivalent from an accredited Study Program in the field of science that is appropriate and / or related to the Doctoral program to be followed. Particularly for overseas graduates, must have a undergraduate certificate equalization document from the DIKTI.
- Original transcripts or photocopied that have been legalized. Having Original transcripts or photocopied that have been legalized, with graduate GPA as follows:
- ≥ 3,00 in scale 4 or equivalent, for applicants from A accredited graduate study program, or;
- ≥ 3,25 in scale 4 or equivalent, for applicants from B accredited graduate study program, or;
- ≥ 3,50 in scale 4 or equivalent, for applicants from C accredited graduate study program.
- Study program accreditation certificate at graduate level or equivalent, with the following conditions:
- The accreditation of the study program is current accreditation and is proven by a scan of the accreditation certificate or print screen accreditation from the current BAN-PT page.
- The Study Program which accreditation is in the process of being extended is proven by the receipt of the accreditation form submission to the DIKTI, not a certificate from the relevant university.
- Particularly for overseas graduates applicants, the proof of accreditation is Overseas Diploma Declaration from DIKTI.
- The document will not be processed further If the accreditation document is invalid.
- Certificate of Academic Potential Test results with a minimum score of 500 and proven by a valid certificate, which is a maximum of 2 years from the date of issuance of the certificate (choose one):
- Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) BAPPENAS
- Tes Potensi Akademik Pascasarjana (PAPs) UGM
- Tes Kemampuan Potensi Akademik (TKPA HIMPSI)
- Certificate of English proficiency test results and proven with a valid certificate, which is a maximum of 2 years from the date of issuance of the certificate. The recognized English proficiency certificate is (choose one):
- Academic English Proficiency Test (AcEPT) from UGM with a minimum score of ≥ 209, or;
- International English Testing System (IELTSfrom institutions recognized by the IDP with a minimum score of ≥ 5.0, or;
- ITP from IIEF with a minimum score of ≥ 450, or;
- Test of English Proficiency (TOEP) from Pusat Layanan Tes Indonesia (PLTI) recognized by DIKTI for lecturer certification with a minimum score of ≥ 450 (45).
- Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) people who know prospective students at the previous level of education. Academic Supervisors and/or other people deemed to be authorized, for example the employer of the prospective student. The link to provide online recommendations will be sent by the UM UGM Committee to the recommendations via email. Make sure the recommendation email address is an active email address.
- Special condition:
- Doctoral program applicants must make a dissertation plan proposal
- Also projections of the aspirations of prospective students in participating in the Doctoral Program which include, topic plans/research interests and reasons and expectations of participating in the chosen program, research topic plans, and plans after study completion.
- Applicants can upload statement of the aspirations of prospective students in participating in the Doctoral Program and a dissertation plan proposal through system at applicants account.
- A letter of study approval or study assignment from the institution for those who already have a job.
- Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Cooperation Agreement (Perjanjian Kerja Sama) or Letter of Determination as a Scholarship Recipient (valid for collaboration track applicants only)
- Declaration of Document Authenticity
- The study program will held an interview sessions at the final stage of the selection. This interview is part of the requirements to register as a prospective doctoral student in the Performing Arts and Visual Arts Studies Program.
Important:
- Applicants do not need to send files to the study program email, just register online.
- Applicants can upload a of the aspirations of prospective students in participating in the Doctoral Program and a dissertation plan proposal through system at applicants account.
- Remember! Doctoral program applicants must make a dissertation plan proposal and submitted in the online admission system in applicants account.
