Students from the Master’s Program in Performing and Visual Arts Studies (PSPSR) demonstrated active contributions to the UGM Graduate School Family Gathering 2025 held on October 18, 2025, at the Backyard of the UGM Graduate School. This event served as the culmination of the UGM Graduate School Anniversary celebration, embodying the spirit of togetherness and collaboration among the academic community.

In this festive gathering, PSPSR students participated in various strategic roles. Delfin Febriansyah and Namirra Azzahra competed as participants in the Cooking Competition, showcasing their creativity and culinary skills. Meanwhile, Febri Anugrah was entrusted as a judge for the Coloring and Drawing Competition, sharing his expertise in evaluating children’s artwork. The event’s excitement was further enriched by musical performances from a band of PSPSR students, providing quality entertainment for the entire Graduate School community.

The involvement of PSPSR students in this Family Gathering aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through recreational and artistic activities, this event contributes to the mental health and well-being of the academic community by creating space for relaxation and togetherness. Furthermore, cross-program collaboration and family involvement strengthen internal campus partnerships, building a solid and mutually supportive academic community.

The Family Gathering is not merely a celebration, but also a holistic learning platform that integrates academic, social, and cultural aspects. The active participation of PSPSR students demonstrates that arts education is not confined to theory alone, but also encompasses practical applications that provide direct benefits to the community. This activity is expected to become an annual tradition that continues to strengthen the values of togetherness and collaboration within the UGM Graduate School environment.
