The Master’s Program in Performing Arts and Visual Arts Studies (PSPSR) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has conducted a socialization and feedback collection activity as part of its curriculum development initiative. This activity aimed to gather input from students and alumni to enhance the quality of the study program in alignment with academic and professional demands in the fields of performing and visual arts.
The event was organized in two sessions involving students and alumni, to accommodate diverse perspectives. The proposed curriculum changes include adjusting the number of credit hours (SKS) and adding new courses to improve graduate competencies. PSPSR expects that the feedback from students and alumni will provide valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the current curriculum and the proposed revisions.
This activity involved various stakeholders, including the Head of the Study Program, the Quality Assurance Coordinator for the Master’s Program, academic staff, active students, and alumni of PSPSR. Through this forum, it is anticipated that the socialization and feedback collection process will significantly contribute to developing a more relevant and adaptive curriculum, aligning with advancements in the field and the needs of the Performing Arts and Visual Arts industry. This activity aligns with SDG goals 4 (Quality Education). (AHP)
