Yogyakarta, 22 July 2026 – Universitas Gadjah Mada held graduation ceremony for its postgraduate program. Five students from the Master Program of Performing Arts and Visual Arts Studies (PSPSR)—Janur Pusparukmi, Pratiwi Agustin, Delfin Febriansyah, Dani Ardiyawan, and Rusnandi—were among the graduates celebrating their academic achievements.
The graduation ceremony began with a diploma ceremony at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) in the morning. After the ceremony, the event continued with a graduation ceremony and faculty-level entertainment at 13:00 WIB in the 5th-floor auditorium of the UGM Graduate School.
At a series of graduation ceremonies at the UGM Graduate School, a dance performance by students of the Master Program of Performing Arts and Visual Arts Studies (PSPSR) really stood out to the audience. “Tari Tempoborasi” is a great example of the spirit of the Indonesian people, with its mix of different cultures and traditions. This dance symbolizes strength and diversity. The big moment happened about halfway through the show when the Head of the PSPSR Master Program, Dr. Rr. Paramitha Dyah Fitriasari, M.A., joined the group on stage. Dr. Paramitha’s participation in the dance showed the strong connection between teachers and students at PSPSR. The mood was warm and lively, with the graduates and their guests adding to the excitement.
This graduation ceremony is not merely an academic ceremony but a concrete manifestation of support for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which align with:
- SDG 4 (Quality Education): by providing inclusive and equitable quality education, critical and transformative spaces for students, and increasing lifelong learning opportunities for all.
